Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Ampeg® SVT50 Celebration - Heritage 50th Anniversary SVT Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) and these Official Rules are governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Valid only to legal United States residents (excluding Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Guam) who are eighteen (18) years of age and older at time of entry. No one under the age of 18 may attempt to enter or submit any personal information. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited, taxed, licensed or restricted by law.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. This Sweepstakes begins November 1st 2020 and ends December 28th, 2020 ("Sweepstakes Period").
SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc., 26580 Agoura Road, Calabasas, California 91302 (the "Sponsor"). Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and any decisions made by Sponsor.
ENTER ON-LINE BY: Subscribe at www.ampeg.com/SVT50sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period by entering participant’s email address into the entry form and confirming that participant is willing to receive emails about Ampeg products. Unsubscribing during the Sweepstakes Period will result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes.
All entries are deemed made by the holder of the e-mail account. All on-line entries must be received no later than December 28th, 2020.
By subscribing to Ampeg as described herein, participants willfully enter the Sweepstakes.
DRAWING. The Prizewinner (“Prizewinner”) will be determined at random from among all subscribers who subscribe during the Sweepstakes Period.
PRIZES.
One (1) Prizewinner. The Prizewinner will receive one (1) Heritage 50th Anniversary SVT (ARV: $3,779.99).
The Prizewinner will be notified by e-mail on or about January 4th, 2021. The Prizewinner will have fifteen (15) business days to claim the prize. Prizewinner must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) business days of notification.
A disqualification will result and an alternate winner will be randomly selected if the above documents are not signed and returned within the designated time, a prize notification is refused, an entrant is found to be ineligible or non-compliant with these Official Rules, or the prize remains unclaimed for over 15 business days. There is no substitution for any prize or portion thereof, except due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. The Prizewinner will be fully responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes.
All entries are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes. Eligibility, age, and claims made by Prizewinners also are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Sponsor makes no warranties, express or implied.
Employees and their immediate family members (defined as spouses, parents, children and legal dependents – including foster and step family members, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers and sisters) or person(s) living in the same household of an employee of Sponsor or Sponsor’s officers, directors, agents, and independent contractors are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes.
PRIVACY STATEMENT. Participants’ personal information, in conjunction with this Sweepstakes, will be utilized by Sponsor for the sole purpose of selecting and notifying the Prizewinner and will be kept only as long as required by law. Unless otherwise authorized by a participant, participants’ information will not be sold, rented, or given to any other third party. RELEASE, INDEMNIFICATION, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. By entering, participants, their agents, assigns, and successors release Sponsor and its parent company and their respective trustees, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors, promotional partners, and prize providers from any and all liability for any costs or expenses resulting from entry in the Sweepstakes and from any and all liability whatsoever, including, without limitation, for any injuries, death, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or in connection with any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, quality, use, or misuse of any prize, or any portion of any prize, or parts thereof (including any travel or activity related thereto). All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses, injuries, or death arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes, and any prizewinner’s use of any prize, they will indemnify Sponsor from any and all such claim, including attorney’s fees related thereto.
Sponsor and its parent company and their respective trustees, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents, and independent contractors are not responsible for any kind of computer transmission, electronic, hardware, internet, software, network, technical, or telephone failures and any damaged, delayed, garbled, illegible, incomplete, late, lost, misplaced, misaddressed, misdirected, or stolen mail or e-mail.
Participant agrees that by entering this Sweepstakes, Sponsor may seek damages from participant if participant deliberately damages Sponsor’s website or any other website in conjunction with participant’s partaking in this Sweepstakes or if participant interferes with the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes, it is in violation of civil or criminal law.
If, in Sponsor’s exclusive judgment, this Sweepstakes becomes compromised in any way, Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the Sweepstakes offer, cancel any method of entry, and/or select the prizewinner from all eligible entries received prior to the withdrawal.
FORCE MAJEURE: Without limiting any other provision in these Official Rules, in the event that any of the entrants’ activities or the Sponsor’s operations or activities are affected, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, by reason of any acts of God, any action, regulation, order or request by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action, regulations, order or request proves to be invalid), equipment failure, threatened terrorist acts, terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic or public health crisis, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any law, rule, regulation, order or other action adopted or taken by any governmental, federal, state, or local government authority, or any other cause, whether or not specifically mentioned above, subject to any governmental approval that may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes and Sponsor shall not be responsible or liable to any entrant or prize winner or any person claiming through such entrant or prize winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof. Sponsor is not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant’s e-mail account to receive e-mail messages.
WINNERS LIST. For a printed copy of the Official Rules or a Winners List, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc. - "Ampeg SVT50 Celebration – Heritage 50th Anniversary SVT Sweepstakes," 26580 Agoura Road, Calabasas, California 91302. Residents of Vermont with a return address in Vermont may omit the return postage on their request. Winners List replies will be sent after completion of the Sweepstakes.
