Not just an acoustic/electric bassist with a bachelor's degree in jazz bass performance, Rod Stewart bassist Conrad Korsch has played on Broadway, is the substitute bassist for the SNL (Saturday Night Live) house band, has taught at Swarthmore College and the Sam Ash Music Institute, and is a proud member of the Local 802 American Federation of Musicians. Also a composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Korsch worked on the Grammy-nominated Swing! Broadway cast album and has recording credits that highlight his diverse performances with Carly Simon, Andrea Bocelli, Bette Midler, Manhattan Transfer, Carole King, Joan Osbourne, Marc Cohn and Rosanne Cash. Said to have appeared on every broadcast TV show featuring live music, you can see Korsh on the annual Jerry Lewis/MDA Telethon and hear him on a multitude of TV jingles, from M&Ms to MasterCard, which led him to establish Scrumptious Music, a music production company.
