Brad Stewart

Saliva

Brad collaborated on songs, performed live and in the studio with Shinedown for the next 6 years on the albums “Leave a Whisper” and “Us and Them” and the live DVD “Live from the Inside.”. He co-wrote a number of songs during his time with the band…namely the crossover hit “I dare you” which received airplay at Mainstream, Active, and Modern rock stations as well as Pop, AC, hot AC and AAA. Shinedown’s first two albums have sold over 2 times platinum worldwide and produced a number of hits. Brad and the band parted ways in 2007 and Brad was subsequently asked to join the multiplatinum rock band FUEL with Brett Scallions in 2010. Brad toured for the next 5 years with FUEL , co-wrote and recorded a new record with the band. The new album titled “Puppet Strings” was released in March of 2014 on Megaforce records/Sony Red. FUEL toured in support of this record over the next year and a half. Brad and the band parted ways in the Summer of 2015 and Brad transitioned right into playing with Saliva. He has been touring with the band ever since. Brad played on the Saliva 2016 release “Love, Lies, and Therapy,” on Universal. He also co wrote and played on the band’s 2018 Megaforce records release “10 lives.” The band toured to support “10 Lives" on Muddfest as direct support for Puddle of Mudd in 2018 and 2019. Saliva, like most bands, was forced off the road for the most part in 2020 because of the global pandemic. In early 2021, the band re-recorded several songs from their 2001 debut album “Every Six Seconds” to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the record’s release. An EP titled “Every Twenty Years” was released by Megaforce records that included the early hits “Click Click Boom” and “Your Disease” as well as a cover of Soundgarden’s “Spoonman.” A documentary was also released in the late Spring with behind the scenes footage and interviews with the band members and producer Bob Marlette. Saliva will be ramping up their shows on the road in 2021 to support the EP and celebrate the anniversary of their debut.
